GSF’s GBV Prevention and Response Strategy
Strategic Objective
To reduce gender-based violence and improve the lives of women and girls in the region through comprehensive and targeted interventions.

Awareness and Education
We aim to educate communities about GBV and its impact through:

Strengthening Support Services
We provide essential services for GBV survivors, including:
- Safe Spaces: Establishing secure environments where women and girls can access support.
- Healthcare Partnerships: Collaborating with local health facilities to ensure survivors receive comprehensive care.
- Access to Justice: Partnering with legal organizations to offer legal aid and representation for survivors.

Advocacy and Policy Change
Our advocacy efforts focus on:
- Engaging Governments: Working with local and national policymakers to advocate for stronger GBV prevention laws.
- Collaborating with NGOs: Partnering to influence and reform policies that perpetuate GBV.
- Raising Awareness: Engaging influential stakeholders to highlight GBV’s societal impacts.

Capacity Building
We empower community stakeholders by:
- Training Programs: Organizing workshops for community leaders, teachers, and healthcare workers.
- Women’s Groups: Supporting women-led initiatives to build resilience and foster peer networks.
