Thematic Areas

Life-saving explosive ordnance risk education for returning communities

EORE

Our Approach

Unexploded ordnance and other explosive remnants of war continue to threaten lives — especially as displaced families return to contaminated areas. Without risk education, children and communities remain vulnerable.

UXO Threat

Unexploded ordnance and explosive remnants of war continue to threaten lives as families return home.

What We Do
  • Conduct EORE sessions in at-risk communities and high-risk areas
  • Use radio, printed materials, and door-to-door outreach for risk messaging
  • Link survivors and persons with disabilities to psychosocial, medical, and economic support
  • Train community volunteers as local risk education facilitators
  • Coordinate with mine action actors and humanitarian clusters
